Form

Jo uses hybrid making methods in which the hand-formed and the moulded are brought together to create one-off ceramic forms. The reason for making in this way is so that methods that are traditionally used to create ceramic multiples may be combined to create unique one off forms; Visual language is guided by process led exploration. The resulting vessels are abstract interpretations of simple geometric forms, the hemisphere, cylinder and squared forms are most commonly used.
